Stephen Harvey Franklin |
Steve has been in e-commerce since 1996, following an early career in Publishing
and Management Consultancy.
- Firstly as Managing Director of a number of leading online photo
libraries. During this time he took direct responsibility for the website
development and oversaw tremendous growth often in excess of 100% pa and was
presented with the Queens Award for Export Achievement.
- Secondly as managing Director of the UK's leading independent online
seller of digital cameras, when Stephen left to set up WSI in Yorkshire, the
company had grown by 70% during the year and was turning over £20m
outselling Amazon, e-trader and dabs, in fact outselling everyone except
Dixons & Jessops.
Most recently setting up www.gifts-2-go.co.uk with his wife Fiona.
Steve's passion is for meeting new clients and seeing a client's bottom line
increase as a result a website or a search engine marketing campaign. "It is
a joy to meet new people, learn about different industries and to develop
online solutions for each client".
At home Steve is married to wife Fiona, together they have 5 children, and
with any spare time remaining likes to run or cycle. |

Pamela Charlesworth |
Pam started working for WSI in early 2005 and now manages the web
development and search engine teams. After graduating with a BA (Hons) in Fine Art
many 'moons' ago, Pam has always worked in a customer service
environment both face to face and on the telephone and in a variety of
industries including retail, financial services and advertising. Before
working for WSI, Pam worked for over 5 years at first direct as a team
manager in their Foreign and Sharedealing department and achieved an
HSBC Outstanding Award for her contribution to the business. Pam left
first direct to have her third child and applied to WSI when she was
ready to return to work after deciding she wanted to work in a more
creative environment.
Pam lives in Holmfirth with her husband Darrin and 3 children Jemma, Lauren
and Daisy. When not working Pam is a PTA secretary, enjoys walking in the Holme
Valley, going to the cinema and is also a Reiki Master practitioner.

Matthew Redford |
Matt has been part of the
Search Engine Marketing team since
2006. He is 24 and has just graduated from Huddersfield University with
an E-Commerce and Multimedia degree. As well as search engine
optimisation Matt is also a keen web programmer. He likes to play and
watch most sports. Matt is the only one who supports Leeds United here.
He is a big fan of dance, electro, indie and rock music. Matt has just
started to get into making dance music which is great for stress
relief on weekends! |

Daniel Fielding |
Dan has been with us for over 2 years. He has a BA (Hons) in
Multimedia Design and spends most of his working time putting together
concept website designs. He's passionate about great design and clean
compliant code. In his spare time he likes to golf and is currently
learning to snowboard. |

Barnaby Knowles |
Barnaby has more
than 10 years experience in website development. Although initially developing websites as a
hobby, his interest in the field increased at the same time he attained
an LLB (Hons) degree in law. After graduating he decided to pursue his passion for
website development rather than a career in law. Outside the office he enjoys keeping fit and
trains in the gym several times each week. He is also keen on poker and
is a regular player in a national poker league. In August Barnaby reached the regional finals of the Redtooth Poker league. |

Douglas Sehsuvaroglu |
Douglas is the newest addition to the WSI staff. Although he has a
keen and enthusiastic ambition in marketing, this is his first
experience as an online marketer. Douglas has spent his last four years
studying at university, and as a result has achieved a Bachelors Degree in
Business Management and is completing his Masters in Marketing. In his
spare time, Douglas is an avid musician who is currently performing in
the Huddersfield area with his band.

Chris Reid |
Chrisi's website design and development experience started at the
University of New Mexico. She has a keen interest in the usability and
customer experience of websites, particularly in e-commerce systems and
testing. She is also developing further skills in Flash animation and
programming to create rich media presentations for our sites. Chrisi has
also studied 3D Art, Art History, Drawing & Painting
Outside the office, much of her time is taken up caring for a menagerie
of exotic animals - enough snakes and lizards to qualify as a small zoo.
When she is not feeding, maintaining or being bitten by something with
scales, she spends a great deal of time providing support and advice to
other exotics keepers online. |
